De Marque Oak Chevron is a pre-finished engineered oak parquetry from Preference Floors, designed to make a strong design statement without the time, mess, or compromise of traditional site-finished parquetry. Each block is engineered from a solid European Oak wear layer bonded to a multi-ply hardwood substrate, with angled, mitred ends that meet at a perfect V to create the chevron's distinctive sharp, directional pattern across the floor.

The chevron range is offered in 14 colours spanning soft warm naturals like Pure Natural and Cannes, considered greys like Chateau Grey, Colonial Grey, and Storm, richer warm tones in Cognac, Latte, and Champagne, and contemporary darker tones in Mink Grey, Dark Brown, Vintage, Parana, Riesling, and Sauvignon. All colours are pre-finished with a low-VOC water-based matte coating and lightly wire-brushed for a soft, tactile surface that reads as natural rather than glossy.

Each block measures 600 x 120mm in the 15/4mm format (with a 4mm wear layer) and 600 x 90mm in the thicker 21/6mm format (with a 6mm wear layer). Eleven of the fourteen colours are available in the 15mm format, six in the 21mm format, and three (Dark Brown, Latte, and Parana) are offered in both thicknesses. The thicker 21/6mm wear layer suits higher-traffic installations and homes that may want to sand and refinish the floor decades down the line.

De Marque Chevron is installed by direct adhesive fix only on a flat, dry substrate, and is suitable for residential, multi-residential, and light commercial applications. The product is backed by a 25-year limited structural warranty, a 20-year residential wear warranty, and a 5-year commercial wear warranty.
