Alexandria 4M

Alexandria is a 100% solution dyed nylon scroll loop pile carpet from Belgotex, distinguished by its 4 metre wide roll format and its distinctive woven construction. Different loop sizes are tufted together to create a lofty, balanced surface that reads as both organic and structured, looking stunningly natural while resisting stains and fading. Nine refined neutral colours span the soft warm tones of Sandy, Dune, Shell and Terra, the cooler greys of Pebble, Shore and Flow, and the deeper anchoring options of Breeze and Wave.

The scroll loop construction is built at a 1/5 inch gauge on a 9mm pile height, delivering a 43oz yarn weight (1460g/m²) and a total carpet thickness of 11mm. The 4 metre wide roll is a meaningful practical advantage over the more common 3.66 metre format, often allowing larger rooms to be laid without a seam where a narrower roll would require one. A woven polypropylene primary backing combined with Action Fleece secondary backing keeps the carpet dimensionally stable, while the construction is rated suitable for stairs and approved for use over underfloor heating.

Alexandria carries an Extra Heavy Duty Residential and Heavy Duty Commercial rating, supported by a 15-year residential warranty and a 5-year commercial warranty. The solution dyed nylon delivers exceptional stain resistance and colourfastness, while the carpet will not shed or pill and is resistant to mould and mildew. Anti-static performance is well below 2kV under EN 1815, and the fire rating sits at a confident 4.8kW/m² under AS/ISO 9239-1.

Manufactured to CRI Green Label Plus certification for low VOC emissions, with solution dyeing that uses no water, and produced under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systems.
