Velura is a 100% DuraTuft Soft SD polyester cut pile twist carpet from Redbook Carpets, Australian made and built around a notably refined, soft surface character that elevates polyester carpet beyond its usual positioning. Thirteen considered colours range from the soft pale neutrals of Bare Canvas, Natural Linen, Opal Bay and Sun Ray through warmer mid-tones in Honey Beige, Mocha Delight and Stony Path, into the cooler silvers and greys of Silverstone, Bird Feather, Pewter Cup and Cast Iron, finishing with the deeper anchoring options of Starry Night and Molten Rock.

Where typical polyester carpets use chunkier gauges, Velura is built on a finer 1/10 inch gauge with a 10mm pile height and 12mm total thickness, creating a tighter, more polished surface character with the same plush feel underfoot. The soft DuraTuft polyester yarn delivers a notably luxurious hand that polyester is increasingly known for, while the solution dyed construction brings the colourfastness and stain resistance that come with fibre-stage dyeing.

Velura carries a 5-star Residential Extra Heavy Duty Including Stairs ACCS rating combined with a 1-star Light Duty Contract rating, suitable for bedrooms, living areas, hallways and lighter residential settings. The carpet is finished with stain and fade resistance built into the fibre, and is positioned by Redbook as laid-back luxury at an accessible price point.
