Hardwood Collection

The Hardwood Collection from Preference Floors is an engineered timber range built from two Northern Hemisphere temperate hardwood species: American Red Oak and White Ash. Both species are AB grade, selected for a cleaner visual with fewer knots while retaining the characteristic grain patterns of each species. Planks are 190mm wide x 1900mm long with a 14/3mm engineered construction, lightly wire brushed and finished with a matte water-based PU lacquer.

Performance

The Hardwood Collection carries a 3mm Red Oak or White Ash wear layer finished with a matte water-based PU lacquer. Janka hardness values are approximately 5.2kN for Red Oak and 5.5kN for White Ash. The range achieves a P3 wet pendulum slip rating and a 5-star acoustic rating of 42 L'nT,w over 2mm green underlay.

Sustainability

Preference Floors states that its products are sourced with consideration for environmental impact and healthy living. The range is produced with non-toxic materials and the VOC rating is E1.
