Bouclé is a 100% BCF solution dyed nylon textured tufted loop pile carpet from EC Carpets, Australian owned and made, designed to deliver the heathered character of premium wool in a practical and resilient synthetic construction. Nine designer-inspired colours range from the soft warm neutrals of Ovie, Sarinen, Jacqueline and Mokum, through cooler heathered greys including Fredrik, Shu and Atticus, into mid-tones like Maymo, and finishing with the deep charcoal of Coco.

The high-low loop construction varies pile height between 5mm and 6.5mm across a 60 by 80mm repeat, tufted at a 3/16 gauge to create the rich textural surface that gives the range its name. A 34oz pile weight delivers durable everyday performance while the heathered colour treatment closely resembles the look and tonal depth of wool. For customers drawn to the natural character of wool carpet but seeking a more practical and affordable construction, Bouclé offers a genuine alternative in solution dyed nylon.

Bouclé carries an Extra Heavy Duty (5-star) Residential and Medium Duty (2-star) Contract ACCS rating, suitable for living areas, bedrooms, hallways and lighter commercial settings including hotel accommodations and apartments. The carpet strongly resists staining, moisture, mould and insect damage, and the heathered colour palette is excellent at hiding everyday soiling. The construction is pet-friendly and easy to care for, with a fire rating and a Blue Stripe synthetic secondary backing that holds the carpet dimensionally stable.
